Benji's Early Bird Special

A silly little game about a silly little dog... Can you help Benji the shipoo dog get his dinner when  he wants it? (aka, SUPER EARLY, like an Early Bird Special!) Play through this text-based adventure--with some cute dog pics--to find out! Includes 3 endings.

This is my first finished game ever! (Music is also by me.) I kept it short and simple as I'm still brand new to coding, so please feel free to give constructive feedback, while keeping in mind that there's still a LOT for me to learn. I just wanted to get a playable project out there so I can move on to bigger and better things! I hope you find it to be a cute lil' adventure~

MAC INSTRUCTIONS:

After downloading and attempting to open the game, you'll likely need to bypass Apple's tendency of being afraid of anything they didn't make themselves by going into System Preferences -> General -> Open Anyway (should be at the bottom, it'll mention that my game's from an unidentified developer) I apologize for the hassle; I recently got a PC and plan to make more Windows builds moving forward, so I didn't want to go through the fuss of getting Apple to formerly recognize the game. Like I said, I'm brand new to this, and the process seems confusing and intimidating to me. Think of that what you will.

Otherwise, this should be playable in the browser as well! (No, there is no Windows version)

I'm aware of a minor audio bug in the browser version, in which the music doesn't start until you click one of the story progression buttons at the very beginning. Not entirely sure why that's happening, but I'll look into it and will hopefully fix it soon!

Turns out the audio "bug" is really just a typical play-in-browser feature XD. Just click anywhere within the game's window to start hearing sound!
